Can I use the cellular connection anytime I want?
No. The cellular connection is a backup service only. It activates automatically when your Spectrum Internet is unavailable due to a network or power outage. Using the cellular backup at another location other than the service address of record or in any circumstance other than an Internet or power outage may result in immediate suspension or disconnection of the service.
Can I use 5G backup at another location with the same router, or can I disconnect the router from modem and use 5G backup?
No. Invincible WiFi™ is designed to provide backup specifically for your service address and must be plugged into your Fiber-Powered cable modem at all times. Moving the device or attempting to use it as a mobile hotspot violates the terms of service and may result in disconnection or suspension of the cellular backup feature.
