How do device and phone trade-ins work with Spectrum?
Once you select a new device, you’ll be asked to tell us a bit about your trade-in. Next, you will get an estimated value of your trade-in. Once Assurant has received your device, they will determine the final value. This value is applied as a credit on your next bill. Learn more about device credit.
How much will I get for my trade-in?
On any Spectrum Mobile plan, you will receive the value of your trade-in based on your device condition plus you may get an extra $100 or more off toward your new device. You can find out more from the Trade-In Program FAQs.
What kind of device can I trade in?
We currently accept phones and tablets as long as they meet the trade-in standards. We cannot accept trade-ins for smartwatches at this time.
Does Spectrum Mobile offer mobile contract buyout?
Yes. Spectrum Mobile will buy out your current contract for as many as five lines of service. The maximum buyout is $2,500. Get $500 back for each line you switch (up to five lines), to apply to your combined device balance across all switched lines. Payment will be issued in the form of a Visa® Reward Card.
Do I need Spectrum Internet?
Yes, you need an active Spectrum Internet account to qualify for Spectrum Mobile service.
Which plans work with Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 8 series devices?
All Spectrum Mobile plans are compatible with the new Galaxy Z Series devices. Each plan offers unlimited talk, text, WiFi calling and data. How does the free smartwatch data plan work?
Unlimited Premium Plus includes a $10/mo credit toward an eligible linked smartwatch plan when your watch is paired to a phone on the Spectrum Mobile network. That allows you to keep your wearable connected without adding to your bill. Compatible smartwatches only.
