What is Anytime Upgrade?

Anytime Upgrade delivers a flexible upgrade experience, allowing you to get a new phone up to four times per rolling 12-month period. Key Anytime Upgrade features include:

How does Anytime Upgrade work?
First, select a new phone – Spectrum Mobile offers the latest devices from top brands. Then complete an assessment of the condition of your existing phone. Accept your trade-in offer, turn in your current phone within 30 days and activate your new phone.
When can I upgrade with Anytime Upgrade?
If you have been on Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Plus Premium for at least 30 days, you can use Anytime Upgrade. You can upgrade up to four times per rolling 12-month period. If you switch from a By the Gig or Unlimited plan to Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Plus Premium, you’ll be eligible for Anytime Upgrade after 30 days.
What's the difference between Anytime Upgrade and Early Upgrade?

Anytime Upgrade is exclusively available to Unlimited Plus Premium and Unlimited Plus customers and allows for up to four upgrades per 12-month rolling period. Customers can upgrade online, by phone or in-store with a $35 flat fee. You must remain on a qualifying plan for at least two billing cycles after upgrading.

Early Upgrade is for By the Gig and Unlimited customers who have paid at least 50% of their current device's payment plan. Upgrades are processed in-store with a $45 fee.

Do I have to return my old phone?
Yes, you must return your phone in good working condition, all security features have been disabled, device powers on, has no cracked screen and shows no liquid damage. If the device is not received in good working order, the offer will be adjusted to fair market value. Return your device by the due date shown, or charges may apply.
Is there a monthly fee for Anytime Upgrade?
No, there is no monthly fee. For each upgrade, you will pay just a $35 flat fee.
