To change your Spectrum address, check availability at your new address. Then please call 888-692-8635 to schedule your move and help transfer Spectrum service. If you require professional installation, it’s recommended to request a service transfer at least 2-3 weeks prior to your move.

If Spectrum isn’t available at your new address, we’ll let you know what to do with your old equipment.

To check if Spectrum Internet is available in your area, enter your ZIP Code and street address at https://www.spectrum.com/address/localization. Because availability can vary by exact address, this tool provides the most accurate results and shows the speeds offered at your location. 

Before moving with your Internet equipment, please contact our team to verify whether your equipment is compatible with your new location.

Start by checking whether Spectrum is available in your area, then select the speed that fits your needs and schedule installation or choose a self-install option if available. Once activated, set up your WiFi network and connect your devices. 

Call the number above to talk to an agent about transferring your account settings, including billing and notification preferences, when you move. You can also update your contact information to make sure you receive important reminders and notifications about your account.



If you bring your current Spectrum Internet equipment to your new address, your WiFi network name (SSID) and password will remain the same. If you need new equipment as part of transferring your services, you'll receive a new network name and password. Learn how to find your WiFi network name and password.

When moving your Spectrum Home Phone service, you won't be able to transfer your phone settings or port your telephone number if you are your new address is in a different rate center. 
Your voicemails will also not transfer, but you can save them before moving:

1. Sign in to your Spectrum account.
2. Select Home Phone.
3. Enter the Voicemails tab.
4. Select the voicemail you want to download.
5. Click the Download icon.
6. An MP3 file will be downloaded onto your computer.

Note: You can only download one voicemail at a time.
