With Spectrum TV and the Spectrum TV App, you can get the power of live TV straight from your pocket with online TV streaming 24/7. Breaking news doesn’t wait, and neither should you – watch your favorite news channel live as it happens, not when you happen to get home. By using the Spectrum TV app, you keep the same cable network access you love and get to keep watching everywhere you go.

Stretch your regular TV services further with the Spectrum TV app. Every Spectrum TV plan comes with free access to the Spectrum TV App on many device types. Download the app on each device, through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store or the Roku Channel Store and sign in with your Spectrum TV credentials. The app is compatible with most smartphones, tablets and a host of streaming devices.
Along with live TV, you can choose from thousands of On Demand options and watch anywhere you have access to the Internet.
You can even set up parental controls to ensure your children are watching age-appropriate programming. Use settings to set limits for TV and movie ratings. By choosing a PIN number, you’ll be able to bypass parental controls whenever you want to.
In addition to your phone and tablet, you can even get live TV streaming through Spectrum TV service on your computer. Getting set up is simple: first, visit watch.spectrum.net and sign in with your login credentials to start watching. You can then click “Guide” to view the program guide and scroll through to select the show you want to watch. Then, click “Watch Live” to start viewing. You’ll have access to more channels when you’re connected to your Spectrum Internet®, but there are still plenty of options to watch when you’re not at home.
Any other smart device options you have like Roku, Xumo or Apple TV are also compatible with the Spectrum TV App. Open the Spectrum TV App and choose “Live TV” to start watching. Scroll through the Guide to find the channel and the show you want to watch. Plus, you can pause live TV while watching with the Spectrum TV App, so you never miss a moment even when you step away.
Another choice you have is to download individual channel apps, such as ESPN, HGTV GO, Paramount Network, Food Network and Nickelodeon to your computer and/or other devices. This can be done in addition to using your provider’s TV app. Sometimes there may be a brief delay between live app feeds and live TV, so you may want to stay off social media until the program is over if you want to avoid spoilers!
There are dozens of network apps to choose from, but you usually need paid access to them through your cable provider or a direct subscription through the network itself. Sometimes you can get a discount on premium network subscriptions when you bundle through your cable provider, so check them out first to see if you can get a good deal.
