The Service You Count On, Plus More
What to Know About Your Service Transition
General Information
Spectrum will communicate the details and date of your service transition, along with any changes to your services.
You should receive this communication about 30 days before your service will be transitioned. It will include a phone number to contact Spectrum with questions. Please note that Bee Line will not be able to answer questions about your future Spectrum services.
It’s important that you make note of that date as you may experience some downtime during that day.
Equipment
Spectrum will send your new equipment directly to your address approximately 5 days before your transition date. The equipment will be shipped directly to you at no cost and will include a self-install kit with easy step-by-step instructions.
If you are a business or residence with home phone service, you will need professional installation. Spectrum will contact you in advance of your service transition date to schedule an installation on that date.
You can drop off or mail your equipment to the Bee Line office at 131 Lakewood Road, Madison ME 04950.
You can also contact Bee Line to schedule someone to come pick up your equipment. If you have equipment that does not need to be returned, you should recycle the device(s) according to guidelines in your area. Visit spectrum.net/recycle for local guidelines.
Installation
Service Changes
No, you will keep your phone number, and it will be moved over to the new service automatically. Spectrum will communicate important information and details about any changes to your home phone services.
Other information regarding your phone number:
- Your Bee Line number will be added to a new Spectrum account and scheduled to port over (the process of transferring your existing number to your new service) on your installation date.
- If port process fails during installation, Spectrum will replace it with a new Spectrum number and submit a temporary call forward with Bee Line.
- Following customer installation on cut date, Spectrum will initiate a port process to have your existing number replace the new Spectrum number. This could take 7-10 days to complete.
- Customers will not lose their number if the port process is completed by the end of the entire transition process.
- A final letter will be submitted to customers who have a non-ported number at the end of the transition in order to give them a last opportunity to port the number or lose it.
If you keep your services with Spectrum after the transition, your Bee Line email will be active until September 30, 2025. You will lose any saved emails on that date, so we recommend you make a note of important messages and secure them on a physical drive before the transition. Spectrum will communicate important information about transitioning your email.
If you cancel your service or don’t transition to Spectrum, your email service will end immediately upon that cancelation date.
Your current TV package will be discontinued and will switch to Spectrum TV.
This means you’ll get a more expansive channel offering, including more On Demand choices and FREE Primetime On Demand. For your convenience, find your new channel lineup enclosed here.
Billing Questions
No, you will need to set up a new autopay plan with Spectrum directly. You will be receiving a new account number. Your new account number can be found in the upper left corner of your next monthly bill statement. Once you have received your new account number, you can set up autopay with Spectrum.
Keep your new account number available for future reference and be sure to update your new account number with your financial institution to ensure payment processing.
