5G Home Internet speeds vary from provider to provider. According to Spectrum's analysis of Ookla® Speedtest Intelligence® data for Q4 2022, Verizon’s 5G Home Internet has a median download speed of 110 Mbps, and T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet median download speed is 115 Mbps. Speeds can get even slower than that during periods of high Internet traffic. And Verizon admits that in low signal strength conditions, customers can get 4G LTE upload speeds, which can dip into the single digits.
