In today’s government landscape, it’s not a matter of “if” work environment flexibility will become conventional, it’s a matter of “when.” Even before the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for reliable and secure remote work capabilities, flexible work environments were becoming an imperative for operations as populations in major U.S. cities decline and the workforce becomes more geographically dispersed.

It’s important to keep in mind, however, that supporting a flexible work environment takes more than just a willingness to do so — it takes having the right tools and technologies.
