Provide at-home connectivity for K-12 students and staff

Education IT leaders began last school year focused on digital transformation, expanding blended, personalized and online learning and addressing cybersecurity challenges. The idea that educators would need to conduct a complete overhaul on how teaching is delivered in order to facilitate 100 percent remote learning during a pandemic was likely unimaginable. 

K-12 schools and districts rose to meet the challenge. Online learning curriculums were developed, video conferencing tools put educators back in front of their students and many schools offered lending programs for laptops and tablets. 

For the 2020-2021 school year, many K-12 schools find themselves thrust back into remote teaching and learning. As the COVID-19 pandemic keeps campuses empty and turns kitchen tables into classrooms, a spotlight is put on the need for at-home broadband connectivity. More specifically, how K-12 schools and districts can help connect students, educators and employees to school systems and services when they are off campus.
